the staff were very helpful giving us maps of the area, and showing how to get there, the rooms were also very clean.
The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly...he joked and talked with me while checking in and that really set the mood. The staff was very friendly and I was impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price. Breakfast was the usual cereal and pastries but it was good. I liked the parking setup and I wasn't at all worried about my car being broken into. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, which is always helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The air conditioner took about 4 hours to cool the room. The bed was hard and lumpy. The continental breakfast was a joke. Could hear guest in other rooms talking and moving around thru the walls and floor/ceiling.
It was only ten minutes from downtown so we away from the congestion of the essence festival and could get there to enjoy the event.I N dont remember the guys name that checked us in but he had live in our hometown (Ga.) and was very professional and helpful.Another of your staff help us fine a local Jazz club that we really enjoyed. We cant forget about Cathy Smith she was just great.
I love the location, outside the crazy city traffic. I also liked the price of the room, the staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean.
Towels couldve been softer.
The staff is really nice and friendly. There is not a big breakfast but you have something to eat! Room comfortable and nice. Ok for visit New Orleans, but you have to use the car.
No windows, means no fresh air at anytime!
I loved the room, spacious and clean.....best super 8 I've ever seen....very close to bourbon street . Will be back for Mardi gra
Did not feel safe at poolside. Alcohol is prohibited there by hotel policy but was not enforced. Wi-fi did not work well.
Price was good, This is your basic motel, it was clean and and close to the french quarter. Front desk cleark was courteous and very informative of the local area.
Friendly staff. Easy parking.
Too far away from city center. No facilities or choice of restaurants in vicinity. Basic, a real motel.
Easy on and off freeway access, and helpful staff. The exterior design of the hotel is also nice.
Beds were hard and the sheets scratchy, but for the price it's a good deal.
It was a great value. The staff was accommodating, and very friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Everything worked and the hotel was clean. We were there for the Jazz festival and they had good suggestions for parking, transportation to the festival, what to take and wear etc.
There were no restaurants/stores in the area. The area was not that attractive but that was not really an issue.
The bed was comfortable. The whole room was clean and up to date. It was fairly quite. The breakfast and coffee were fine.
Nothing on the outside let you know how nice the hotel really is. The surrounding businesses are doing nothing for the neighborhood.
We stayed at Super 8 Motel because we came to New Orleans during the French Quarter Festival and hotels on that end were booked. While the hotel was far from the French Quarter, it was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The only thing was its distance from our choice vacation area.
Helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms and secure parking. The actual hotel is one you would recommend.
The area the hotel is in is not the best - you certainly would not feel comfortable eating locally. The hotel description is a little misleading - it is a long way (5 miles) from any of the main areas of the city.
